Hamilton Creek House
LOCATION: Marble Falls, Texas

When we were approached to design this new home, our clients had already spent many days & nights camping on their land, enjoying its serenely remote setting and spring-fed swimming hole. Their brief for the project was straightforward: a multi-generational family home worthy of its beloved setting.
Our early concepts & sketches arose from several long visits to hike the property with the family. Their future home-base for exploration is to be energy-efficient, durable, fire-proof, out of the floodplain, have a "light footprint" on the land, and above all, it has to be fun.
It is an honor and a pleasure to be invited to work on projects like this one. Spending time in such a beautiful setting with such wonderful people is one of the best rewards of what we do.
